How to Host an SCF Event:

Choose which even you would like to host from the following 3 options. This will help narrow down the resources and activities you prepare for the event. 

1) Cards: A card-making event would mean writing cards for senior citizens (this could be seasonal). Please refer to this resource for mandatory guidelines/instructions as well as volunteer hour information. Items that do not satisfy these requirements will not be donated or accepted for volunteer hours. 

2) Crafts: SCF is introducing a Crafts Program in 2025 to extend our gifts to seniors from cards to crochet blankets, bracelets, paintings, etc.

3) Senior Connections: SCF emphasizes interactions with seniors especially by hand delivering gifts. Your team could schedule a time where you can speak with/do an activity with a local senior home.
